INKIES Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of illustrations, character assets, design data and related content (hereinafter "the Materials") provided by INKIES (hereinafter "the Site").

By downloading, purchasing, viewing or using the Materials, you agree to these terms.

1. License Grant

The Site grants you a non-exclusive right to use the Materials within the scope of these terms. Copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with the Site or its rightful owners.

2. Commercial Use

Commercial use is permitted for both individuals and corporations. Examples include:

  • Websites, blogs, landing pages
  • Advertising and promotional materials
  • Social media posts
  • Video content
  • Flyers, brochures, posters
  • Presentation materials
  • Books, magazines, publications
  • Corporate and personal promotional activities

No prior application or usage report is required.

3. Modification and Editing

You may freely modify and edit the Materials.

Examples:

  • Color changes
  • Resizing
  • Cropping
  • Partial use
  • Combining with other materials
  • Incorporation into designs

These terms apply to modified materials as well.

4. Credit Attribution

Credit is not required. However, we welcome mentions on social media or websites.

5. Merchandise License

A separate merchandise license is required to manufacture, sell or distribute products where the Materials are the primary design element.

Examples of merchandising:

  • Stickers
  • T-shirts
  • Acrylic goods
  • Keychains
  • Poster sales
  • Character goods
  • LINE stamps
  • Digital wallpaper sales
  • Other products where the value of the Materials is central to the product value

Merchandise licenses are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if interested.

6. Free Materials, Paid Materials & Premium Membership

Free Materials

Free materials can be downloaded without registration. Resolution or format limitations may apply. Ad viewing may be required for download.

Paid Materials

Paid materials require registration. They include:

  • High-resolution PNG data
  • AI data

Paid materials can be purchased individually.

Premium Membership

Premium members receive the following benefits during their membership period:

  • High-resolution PNG data
  • AI data
  • Premium-exclusive materials
  • Ad-free browsing

Premium content and benefits are subject to change without notice.

7. Refunds

Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds and cancellations are not accepted after purchase or payment completion. Please refer to our Returns and Refund Policy for details.

8. Prohibited Conduct

8-1. Redistribution and Resale

  • Redistributing the Material data
  • Uploading to sharing sites
  • Reselling as downloadable assets
  • Reselling regardless of modification

8-2. Transfer of Usage Rights

  • Transferring usage rights
  • Sublicensing to third parties
  • Registering on or incorporating into asset distribution services

8-3. Unauthorized Merchandising

Selling products centered on the Materials without obtaining a merchandise license.

8-4. AI and Machine Learning Use

The following uses are prohibited:

  • Use as AI training data
  • Machine learning model training
  • Fine-tuning
  • LoRA creation
  • Dataset creation
  • Redistribution via generative AI re-input
  • Registering materials on AI services

8-5. Illegal or Inappropriate Use

  • Violating laws or regulations
  • Violating public order and morals
  • Defamatory or discriminatory use
  • Infringing on the rights of the Site or third parties

9. Copyright

Copyright is not waived. No rights are transferred to users through use of the Materials.

The INKIES name, logo, character names, character designs, and world-building rights belong to the Site.

10. Disclaimer

The Site assumes no liability for any damages, losses or issues arising from the use of the Materials. Users use the Materials at their own risk.

The Site may suspend, modify or remove Materials without notice.

11. Response to Violations

If a violation is confirmed, the Site may take the following actions:

  • Suspension of use
  • Suspension or revocation of membership
  • Request for removal of Materials
  • Claim for damages
  • Legal action

12. Changes to Terms

The Site may revise these terms as necessary. Revised terms take effect upon publication on the Site.
